During my last Foto Safari from the summer of 2021, I stopped in Old Car City in Georgia. A unique place is catering to photographers, with acres of rusting old cars. I've been there twice, and I have yet to explore the whole area. I'm sure there are more amazing photos waiting for me there. My son has infinite patience as I quickly lose track of time wandering the trails between the junkers.
There is something tranquil and disturbing too wandering the fields of abandoned cars.
Verticle photos don't work too well with social media, and I've not discovered the best way to present them. I shrank to fit the square format with the picture here from Car City instead of cropping it. The image looked a bit bland with just a plain background. So I used a portion of the photo to frame the picture. Not sure If I am pleased with the results. I'd appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions or tips to showcase a rectangle or odd-shaped image on Instagram.
